Even though the evening golden hour is ideal for gorgeous light, it's not exactly ideal for many kids' routines. I know my girls are most cheerful in the morning, and since this family has kids close in age to mine, we chose to shoot in the a.m. You would think getting out in the morning would mean we could beat the heat, but this was one humid Jacksonville day. It was hot and sticky even under the trees! Luckily, when the girls were ready for a break, we were able to hit the playground and get some more smiles. It was a fun morning, but by noon, I had already taken two showers!
